The terms of an employment contract must be respected. It is the current collective agreements that set the conditions for school principals, teachers and other staff in schools. Designated examiners are not eligible for overtime pay. b) Unless otherwise agreed, a teacher is retained at the highest level of the salary scale for his or her qualification group. 4.3.1 Boards of Directors are entitled, in a school year, to a series of units created by formulas in the regulation of staff. The employer, after consultation with its teaching staff, decides on the use of the units.
